Nothing rhymes with my name.

I'm 5"4 with dark brown hair and green eyes.

When I was little I used to spend hours pretending to be a horse. It was my dream job. I was crushed when I discovered it was an impossibility.

One of my friends once said to me "There's no doubt in my mind that you were raised by hippies." I was flattered. My formative years were indeed spent wearing more tie dye than is necessary, growing organic veggies and going to festivals with lots of hairy people. And lots of drugs. I mostly remember the atmosphere and the music. I blame the drugs.

I'm English but have lived on three continents. I have only recently begun to think of England as 'home'.

People always tell me that I'm mature/wise/an old soul but always think I'm younger than I am. I have a baby face.

I am an Extroverted Introvert.

I love swimming, playing tennis and running. I like to be active. It makes me feel happy. I also worry about my weight like almost everyone does. I'm shrinking. Which is a good thing.

Music is really important to me. I grew up with it all around me. It's an essential part of daily life. Some of my clearest childhood memories involve songs that I still love. I like a lot of different types of music. Check out my playlist to see what I'm into right now. It changes. A lot.

I love reading. I love it. Books are amazing. You can live one thousand lives and never leave the sofa. I am one of these people who would rather learn from someone elses mistakes than go out and make their own. Most of the time.

I draw and paint. Portraits are my favourite thing to do.

I am a Christian. But not one of those preachy ones who always talks about fire and brimstone and how everyone is going to hell. That's not what Christianity is about. I'm sorry if you've ever had the misfortune of meeting someone like that.

Right now actress, novelist, au pair, teacher, artist and film maker are just a few of the careers I'd like.

My favourite food is mango...and toffee apple crumble ice-cream.

My favourite colour is green. And that clear blue the sky is on autumn afternoons.

My top three movies are: Cold Mountain, The English Patient and Australia. Two of them are written and directed by Anthony Minghella. Two star Nicole Kidman. All three of them changed my life in some way.

In contrast my favourite TV shows are utter garbage. Gossip Girl, 90210, The Hills and Australia's Next Top Model. I do feel ashamed at admitting this.

I don't have enough money to be as fashionably dressed as I'd like to be.

I try to see the beauty in everything.
